Rawah Ranch

Rawah Ranch sits at about 8,300 feet on 250 acres beside the Laramie River at Glendevey, in the remote high country of northern Colorado close to the Wyoming border. It is small and personal, with room for about 30 guests in nine Western cabins of one to four bedrooms, and a hot tub overlooking the river.

The season runs from June through September, with a three-night minimum. Riding ranges from pony rides and beginner rides to faster rides, private lessons, team penning, horse treks and pack trips; children from age 6 do an arena assessment before joining trail rides, and children’s programs cover ages 2 to 17. There is also fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, archery and shooting sports, supervised tomahawk and knife throwing, gold panning, lake swimming and a petting zoo, plus free-range donkeys wandering the property.

Meals use seasonal, local ingredients, and the ranch checks in about dietary needs before and during your stay. The saloon has billiards, foosball and shuffleboard. Laramie Regional Airport is about 58 miles away and Denver about 190 miles. Ask the ranch for current rates and what is included.
