CM Ranch

CM Ranch is a traditional, week-long family dude ranch outside Dubois in Wyoming’s Wind River country, between the Absaroka and Wind River ranges and within driving distance of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone. It runs a straightforward summer season with Sunday-to-Sunday stays, and it is the kind of place families come back to year after year.

The 2026 season runs from June 7 to September 11. Each guest is matched with a suitable horse for the week, with riding instruction included, and the kids’ program and evening entertainment are part of the stay. Guests also have access to private fishing water, with fishing equipment to borrow, plus a pool and hot tub. The end of the season is reserved for adults: one seven-day week from August 23 and two five-day stays in early September.

The rate covers your cabin or house, all meals, your horse, instruction, the kids’ program, daily housekeeping, fishing access and Wi-Fi. A 15% gratuity is added at the end of your stay, along with Wyoming sales and lodging tax. Guided fishing, fishing licenses and airport transfers cost extra: the ranch can collect you from Jackson Hole Airport for $250 per car each way.

For 2026 the ranch lists $3,240 per riding adult per week in a cabin ($3,370 in a house), $2,820 for non-riding adults, $2,720 for children aged 5 to 12 and $850 for children 4 and under. Early-season weeks in June are 10% off, and returning guests get a loyalty discount. The five-day adults-only stays in September are $2,300 per person.
