Lazy L&B is a family-owned and operated dude ranch near Dubois, set in a cottonwood-shaded river bottom at about 7,000 feet between the Wind River and Absaroka ranges. The lodge fireplace dates back to the original homestead, and the lodge also has a library and game table.
Stays are six nights in summer, for up to about 35 guests. Riding runs from pony rides and beginner rides to trail rides, with trail riding from age 6, and children’s programs cover four age groups from 2 to 17. There is fishing, with a guided fly-fishing option, tubing, swimming in the pool, hiking, a rifle range, archery, a roping clinic, birdwatching and even arrowhead and fossil hunting, and evenings end in the hot tub.
Guests stay in log cabins among the cottonwoods, from a former one-room schoolhouse to family cabins sleeping six, each with a private bath and an outdoor sitting area. All meals are included. Jackson Hole Airport is about 99 miles away. Ask the ranch for current rates and season dates.
