The Home Ranch sits in Colorado’s Elk River Valley near Clark, north of Steamboat Springs, and has been a member of Relais & Châteaux, the association of independent luxury hotels and restaurants, since 1986. It is one of a handful of dude ranches with that distinction, and food and service are a big part of its reputation.
The ranch is open year-round. In summer and fall it is a full guest ranch, with horseback riding, fly fishing and hiking, and an all-inclusive children’s and teens’ program that lets parents ride on their own. In winter and spring it becomes a cross-country ski resort. A spa and a yoga studio are available in every season.
Guests stay in the main lodge or in cabins sized for anyone from couples to large groups. Yampa Valley Regional Airport serves the Steamboat area. Ask the ranch for current rates and minimum stays.
